About Closetize
Closetize is a personal, restrained wardrobe companion. Photograph the clothes you already own and the app files them — cut, color, fabric, season. On the mornings you'd rather not decide, it offers a combination drawn from your wardrobe, weather in mind. It remembers what you actually wore, reads the pieces you reach for, and writes your taste back to you in plain language.
It was built to solve two problems: the time wasted picking an outfit on mornings when you don't much care what you wear, and how little of what we own actually gets worn. Everything it suggests is something you already own.

The company
Closetize is made by one person. Yarik Chekin is an engineer in Los Angeles who spent ten years building physical products; Closetize is the first software he has shipped. He built it because he owned a full wardrobe and wore about eight things in it. About 5,000 test outfits have been generated since testing began in spring 2026.
